Foreword: Why?

I always wanted to create games but besides being creativ and having a lot of ideas I never quite had the skill, talent or qualifications to do so.
I made a lot of small content here and there, from music to sprites and even little games, but none of it ever saw the light of day or actually helped me get better at what I did.

Feeling like I had to get out of my shell and actually upload stuff I made up my mind to use the free time I had to start working on a project, uploading and documenting everything along the way to keep myself motivated and maybe help encourage other people that are in a similar situation.

Being a fan of both, Pokemon and Visual Novels I thought that combining the two might be a good way to start to learn and improve the few things that I wanted to learn most for the start: Drawing, animating and writing.

Dream Molder will be the summary of what I learned along that way...


A few years later: (New year's resolution 2020? :p)
After spending over 2 years on this project I have quite a lot to say about what I learned while over this time.
Now that I somewhat improved I sometimes feel the need to redo a lot of what I made for the project over the years, but that's not what this project was about.

While the time of me learning kept progress of the game itself slow it's now all coming together.

For everyone that has been with me since the beginning, thank you.
You were the ones that helped me stay at it and improve over all this time and are as much of a part of it as me.

Let's use this year to finally finish the project and release a proper version for everyone to enjoy!
I'm not sure which direction I'm going after, but I hope to see some of you around for my projects after that!


Story:

The story takes place in the Pokemon world and is about a young men that was born in a wealthy family.
Growing up to be the successor of the family business that he never really wanted to be, he was dreaming of traveling the world and see all kind of places and pokemon.
He got the idea from a girl, a little tomboy living nearby that he always sneaked out with to play and go on adventures.
One day while they where out playing he found and saved an injured Fennekin that he nursed back to health and got friends with it quickly.

But since his parents would never allow him to keep a "wild" pokemon it had to stay with his friend.
After a while his parents found out about his "adventures" and forced him to go to a private school in preparation for his succession one day.
Not beeing able to see them for years, the thought of traveling the world for adventures became a childish dream. And while he still did not want to take over family business, he found that it was his parents wish and not everyone was as fortunate as him to be born in a family with goals for him in mind like his.

Years later the girl from that time reached out to him telling him that she is going to leave for a world trip, having to leave Fennekin (a now Braixen) behind and looking for a place for her to live.

Seeing Braixen as an old friend he takes her in, letting her live with him since there is enough space in the big family home.
Braixen idolizes him as an knight in shining armor that saved her when she was little, seeing a lot in him than that.
But it didnt take long for her to realize that he changed and a Pokemon wouldn't be part of his future anymore.

At first it was rather strange for both of them, but then these weird dreams started happening...
Braixen looking more feminine, speaking to him about old times and adventures.
And somehow those dreams made him unsure if he wants to keep the family business after all...


Q/A Just answering some regularly asked questions. :>

-Are you a professional artist/gamemaker?
Nope, just some random dude using his free time to work on something he enjoys.
I'm hoping to be able to live from making art/games at some point, for now it's just me trying his best though.
I do have a patreon that helps me having to spend less time on rl work and more time on doing this though, so if you feel like supporting me you're free to take a look!

-How much will the game cost?
The game will be completely free and not be sold on any sites.
This is just a fan project and a process of me learning, a lot of things won't have a quality I think would be worth selling.
(Not to mention that I don't own any rights to Pokemon/Braixen and don't want to gain anything by using their property.)

-Will you release the game on ****?
I will convert the game for a couple of different OS and devices so everyone can enjoy it, which ones I'm actually going to do is still unclear though.
I'm going to take my time with this as it's more important to me that the project get's done in the first place. (Which will be for Windows and some devices with browser support)

-Is this going to be a Hentai/Eroge/Porn Game?
Yes and No.
I will release two versions, one with Hentai/Porn Scenes and one without.
I don't want to make it a Hentai Game in particular, but I don't dislike having H-Scenes in it either as they can be a very emotional and/or story importent moment. (And I enjoy making them too! :3)
In all honesty though, I don't think I'm an good enough writer that would make people want to play the game for the story yet.
But since there are people that think it makes the game perverted or just dislike the thought and actually just want to enjoy a cute Pokemon VN I will definitely try my best for everything else as well!


Download / Game Progress

Since the game is still beeing worked on there is no download for a full version yet.
While there are a lot of demos around here and there they're all out of date.

A new updated demo is in work and will be uploaded here as soon as it's done!

Sketch and H-Sketch Demo's
